Desert Ridge Lending Operational Text Message Policy
This policy applies to text messages sent by Desert Ridge Lending to customers in connection with their use of our product. You will receive a text message upon pre-approval of the loan, final approval of the loan, a message 3-7 days before your payment date, and 1 day before your payment is due. If your payment is late or unsuccessful, you will receive a text message from us alerting you. The number of messages will vary by account. Your cellular provider’s Msg & Data Rates may apply to our confirmation message and all subsequent messages. Accordingly, you should take steps to safeguard your phone and your text messages if you want them to remain private. NO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION SHOULD BE SENT VIA TEXT MESSAGE. Please notify us immediately if you change mobile numbers or plan to provide your phone to another person.
If we modify this Text Message Policy, we will notify you by sending you a text message with a link to the updated policy. We may terminate our text message program at any time.

This policy applies to the operational text messages sent by Desert Ridge Lending to our customers during and after their use of our product. If you wish to stop receiving operational text messages from Desert Ridge Lending, reply to any text message we have sent you and simply type "STOP". If you wish to stop receiving all text messages from Desert Ridge Lending, including those with information about payment due dates or missed payments, type "STOP ALL" in the reply text you send us. Your stop request will become effective within one business day. You may also stop text messages by calling us or emailing us with “STOP” in the subject line using the contact information below.
Help or Support
If at any time you need our contact information or information on how to stop text messages, reply to any text message we have sent you and simply type “HELP.” Upon receiving your text message, we will send you a text message with this information. In general, the messages we send provide you with information about your account. Some of the text messages we send may include links to websites. Consent to Electronic Communications
Electronic communications in connection with your loan transaction and the Loan Agreement are governed by this consent (this "Electronic Consent").
In order to receive electronic communications in connection with this transaction, you will need a working connection to the Internet. You must have an Internet browser that supports the SSL protocol, which provides a secure channel to send and receive data over the Internet. You will also need either a printer to print disclosures/notices or sufficient hard drive space to save the information. You must have your own Internet service provider.
You agree that any disclosure, notice, record, or other type of information that is provided to you in connection with your transaction with us, including but not limited to, the Loan Agreement, this Consent, disclosures, change-in-term notices, fee and transaction information, statements, delayed disbursement letters, notices of adverse action, and transaction information (collectively, "Communications"), may be sent to you electronically by either sending the communication or a link thereof to you by e-mail, as permitted by applicable law.
You understand that we will not be obligated to provide any Communication to you in paper form unless you specifically request it. You may obtain a copy of any Communication by contacting us at www.DesertRidgeLending.com, writing to us at customerservice@DesertRidgeLending.com, or by calling us at (877) 380-3778. You will not be charged a fee for such a copy. You can also withdraw your consent to ongoing electronic communications in the same manner and ask that they be sent to you in paper or non-electronic form. If you choose to receive Communications in paper or non-electronic form, we may elect to terminate your Loan Agreement and demand payment of the amount then due by the date of your withdrawal of consent; or by the expiration of any minimum term mandated by applicable law, whichever is later.
You will provide us with your current e-mail address for notices using the contact information provided above. If your e-mail address changes, you must send us a notice of the new address by writing to us or sending us an e-mail, using secure messaging, at least 5 days before the change.

Desert Ridge Lending reviews your information to determine whether it meets our lending criteria. By completing and submitting the website application, you acknowledge that you are applying for a loan. We verify applicant information through national databases including, but not limited to, Clarity and Factor Trust, and we may obtain information from consumer reporting agencies to evaluate your eligibility and ability to repay. Desert Ridge Lending does not lend to residents of Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia. The availability of installment loans is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Desert Ridge Lending.
Desert Ridge Lending loans are designed to assist you in meeting your short-term borrowing needs and are not intended to be a long-term financial solution. Examples of emergency reasons why these loans may be used include, but are not limited to, unexpected emergencies, car repair bills, medical care, or essential travel expenses. Alternative forms of credit, such as a credit card cash advance, personal loan, home equity line of credit, existing savings, or borrowing from a friend or relative, may be less expensive and more suitable for your financial needs. Desert Ridge Lending encourages quick repayment to save on finance fees. You will only pay the interest accrued up until your payment date. Late fees and non-sufficient funds/returned item fees may apply as described in your Loan Agreement. Complete disclosure of APR, fees, and payment terms is provided within the Loan Agreement. If you do not make a payment on time, we may attempt to contact you via one or more authorized methods. We adhere to the principles of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). We may report your payment history to one or more credit bureaus. If you fail to repay your loan in accordance with its terms, we may place your loan with or sell your loan to a third-party collection agency or other company that acquires and/or collects delinquent consumer debt.
As part of our information collection process, we may detect additional bank accounts under the ownership of the consumer. These additional accounts may be considered as part of the application process.
Loan applications fully verified and approved Monday through Thursday by 6:30 p.m. Central Time will be funded as soon as the next business day. Loan applications fully verified and approved Friday by 6:30 p.m. Central Time will be funded as soon as the following Monday, provided that Monday is not a bank holiday.
* Some loans may be eligible for free same-day funding if approved Monday through Friday by 2:00 p.m. Central Time. If same-day funding is not available, funds will be provided as soon as the next business day. Deposit times and same-day funding availability may vary depending on your financial institution. Desert Ridge Lending is not responsible for any additional charges applied by your financial institution. Errors or omissions in providing your bank or card information in the Disbursement and Payment Choice Authorization section may cause delays.
You will only pay interest accrued up to your payment date.
